Review of Tropical Paradise by Evelise Archer

Tropical Paradise (1Night Stand, #208)Tropical Paradise by Evelise Archer

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

2.5-3 stars

I receieved a free copyof this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is one of the many books in the 1NS series. All the books in the series are shorts and are only losely linked by the dating agency, the mysterious Madame Eve, who sets up the one night stands that always magically turn out to be true love 😉

This story is no different. Here we meet Leo and Skye, who were an item in the past until circumstances tore them apart. Madam Eve gives them a second chance of love.

The story was a quick an easy read. Too easy really. There was no real conflict, and as I didn’t get to know much of the couple’s backstory it was kind of hard to engage and believe in their never ending love, which trancended years and distance…

It wasn’t a bad story, I just think it would have benefited greatly from another 50 pages, so the characters could have been fleshed out more and the romance made more belivable. I have read several of the 1NS stories and will continue to pick up from the series when I need a quick litterary snack.
