Review of If It Flies by L.A. Witt and Aleksandr Voinov

If It Flies (Market Garden, #3)If It Flies by L.A. Witt

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4 solid stars

I have read quite a few of the Market Garden series now, but not in any kind of order. As such I had met Nick in ‘If it drives’ and knew then, that I wanted to know more about him and his partner. This is the third book in the series and the story of how Nick and Spencer meet.

Spencer is a lawyer, he is overworked, stressed and stuck in a bit of a rut. He hasn’t gotten laid since he split with his last boyfriend, and lets his sleazy co-worker talk him into going to Market Garden – a big London high end brothel that caters to all sorts.

Here Spencer meets Nick. Nick is a rentboy, a dom and a sadist, and even if Spencer admits that he likes it rough, he has no idea as to how rough he really likes it, before Nick’s starts training him as a submissive and a masochist.

I love rentboy stories, which is probably one of the reasons I like this series, another being that it is smoking hot, easily read and the pages fly by. This one is no exception.

This book ends on a very lovely and strong HFN, but obviously having a boyfriend who is also a prostitute is doomed to cause tension, and I cannot wait to know more! So I am off to get the next book in the series, ‘If it fornicates’ right away.
