Review of Mine to Possess by Nalini Singh

Mine to Possess (Psy-Changeling, #4)Mine to Possess by Nalini Singh

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This is the 4th novel in the Psy-Changeling series, I would not recommend reading these stories as stand alones, as you will miss out on a lot of world building and backstory. This is the story of Clay, a Dark River Sentinel and Talin, his human childhood friend.

This book really, really annoyed me! No! All leftover trauma from sexual abuse cannot be cured by true love and a magic dick.

Also, the sexism in this series seem to be getting worse? Or maybe it was just the abuse annoyance that made me notice it more?

It still get 2,5 – 3 stars, but only because I was very interested in the back story going on with the council and the protocol one experiments. I disliked both halves of the couple. He was a sexist asshole and she was so incredibly annoying with all her ‘but maybe he is only with me, because he feels like he owes me’….

In general it seems that I dislike the shifter / shifter stories and most of the shifter / human stories. Psy stories are by far the most interesting in this series.

Will still continue with the series though, as I want to hear Dorian and Ashaya’s story.
