Review of Reckless by Anne Stuart

Reckless (The House of Rohan, #2)Reckless by Anne Stuart

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

2.5 stars

and the second star is only for the secondary romance between Lina and the vicar.

The romance at the forefront of this story is horrid. Charlotte is a shallow twit, supposedly in love with a man, whom she has only interacted with once, and then he was rude to her. She spends the entire book going from no to yes and then back again and is generally a TSTL type of character.

Adrian Rohan is a douche bag, and no matter how many times they claim this wasn’t rape, it was certainly coercion and forced captivity. He redeems himself slightly in the end, but it was too little, too late for me.
